Chikalguda Woman Delivers Quadruplets

Hyderabad: A woman gave birth to quadruplets in a private hospital in Chilkalguda. The woman delivered the newborns on April 2. However, the news broke out on Sunday after the babies were shifted to Neo BBC hospital for better treatment.

The newborns were delivered at Geetha nursing home in Chilkalguda. Two of the newborns are boys and the other two are girls. Since the quadruplets were only One kg when they were born, the doctors at the Neo BBC hospital gave them advanced treatment.

At present, the condition of the mother as well as the newborns is learned to be stable. Calling it a rare case, the doctors at the hospital said that the quadruplets are born once in every seven lakh births.
