Woman First Driver On JNTU-Malaysian Township Flyover
The JNTU- Malaysia township flyover that was kept closed even after being complete in view of the election code was inaugurated on Saturday after the IT Employees had requested for it to be opened.
The flyover was built at a cost of Rs 97.94 Crore. This was built as a Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP) to smoothen out traffic in between JNTU and Hitech city.
It was noticed that a woman driver had the privilege of being the flyovers first commuter.
Municipal Administration and Urban Development Principal Secretary Arvind congratulated the woman for driving first on the flyover.
"JNTU- Malaysian Township flyover or aka Rajiv Gandhi Statue Flyover opened for public.. The honour of driving first car goes to this madam... congrats madam," he tweeted.
