Chief Minister Birthday Celebrations Cancelled: KTR
Hyderabad: The state of Telangana has been gearing up for Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s Birthday celebrations. Many activities were announced for the day along with a grand celebration at Jal Vihar at Necklace Road, Hyderabad.
In view of the recent attacks on the soldiers in Jammu & Kashmir, the CM has requested for all celebrations to be cancelled. KCR’s Son KT Rama Rao had sent out a tweet saying: “In light of the horrific terrorist attack on our armed forces in Kashmir, Hon’ble CM KCR Garu has requested party cadre to call off all celebrations on his birthday on 17th.
Please respect his request & instead of celebrations, promote blood/organ donation, plantation etc.”

This sends out the message to say Telangana also mourns the loss of the soldiers.
