Crowdfunding Campaign To Treat Injured Telangana Student Sai Krishna In Michigan

Hyderabad: An Indian student from Telangana was mugged and attacked by robbers in Detroit city of Michigan in the United States on 3 January. The robbers fired a gun at Sai Krishna, an Electrical Engineering student, while he was returning home after picking up food from a restaurant. After surviving gun shots in shoulder and neck area, he is being treated at a hospital in Detroit.

Friends of Sai Krishna said that the robbers broke open his car and robbed his belongings before fleeing in the car, leaving him stranded in the cold. The victim is a student of Lawrence Tech University in Southfield Michigan.

"The doctors have recommended multiple surgeries for his treatment. We are launching a crowdfunding campaign for his treatment," said Sai Krishna's friends.
