Row Over Mancherial VRO Exam Malpractice, Students Protest

Mancherial: Several students who had given the TSPSC Village Revenue Officer (VRO) exam earlier today at an exam centre here have complained about the centre's staff supporting a student in malpractice. According to reports, several students have demanded after the completion of the exam action against the staff of Vaagdevi Degree College and the student for malpractice. The exam was conducted amid tight security for over 700 VRO posts.

The students alleged that one of the staff members entered the classroom and asked the student to come out of the room to seek help for her headache. "The girl sat outside the classroom for nearly an hour. Later, when she returned, there were paper slips in her hand," they said.

Across Telangana, the exam was conducted at various exam centres, many of which did not allow students who were late by even a minute to take the exam. Several student organizations are demanding a re-exam along with action on the staff and the student.
