KCR To Tour Gadwal On June 29

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) will inaugurate Gattu lift irrigation project work, as part of his tour to Jogulamba Gadwal district on June 29, official sources said. KCR will address a public meeting after the project inauguration, it is learnt.

The Telangana government has given green signal for the Gattu project work, by allotting Rs 553.98 crores, in a bid to fulfill the promises made by the Chief Minister on the resolution of issues faced by the people of Gattu. During the separate Telangana movement, CM KCR promised to address issues in the region. The Gattu project is aimed at irrigating 28,000 acres of farm land in the region.
