Telangana: Who said what?

With only a few hours left for the Congress top brass to make a signifcant decision on Andhra Pradesh, leaders from across the parties are coming out in the public to express their stand on the contentious issue.

Here are some views...

Damodar Rajanarasimha:  Everything will be settled today (Tuesday). We are 100% positive. Telangana is going to be a reality with Hyderabad as its capital.

DK Aruna:  Telangana state will comprise 10 districts with Hyderabad as its capital. I hope that the 50-year struggle will bear fruit.

JD Seelam: There is no question of leaving the Congress, will abide by the decision. Whatever information has come about the creation of Telangana is in the media and a decision is yet to be announced officially.

Chiranjeevi: A final decision has not been taken. We are trying to keep Andhra Pradesh united. We have complete faith in Sonia Gandhi.

M Pallam Raju: I have expressed apprehensions at this stage for the interest and development of the Andhra Pradesh. I want the decision to be fair

Ganta Srinivasa Rao:  News of resignations will soon be made official. 15 Seemandhra ministers will resign if the state is divided. Their resignations will depend on the Centre's decision over the issue.

CPI(M) leader Prakash Karat: Creation of Telangana looks inevitable. Need to think afresh basis of division. Creation of the state is not only the solution

Daggubati Purandeswari: Center must consider the Srikrishna Committee report on Telangana issue. I don't think the Centre has made up its mind on the issue yet.
