Telangana supporters pull Lagadapati Rajagopal from stage

Hyderabad, Tension prevailed at the 'maha dharna' called by Andhra Pradesh Non Gazetted Officers (APNGOs) at Indira park in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

According to reports,  Telangana supporters pulled Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal from the stage while the latter was giving a speech. Police came in huge numbers to control the supporters. Police also arrested three members from Telangana Yuva Shakthi organisation and removed them from the Park.

Earlier, police made massive security arrangements for 'maha dharna'.  Traffic diversions near Indira Park and surrounding areas were put in place. About 20 APSP teams, one CRPF team, one RPF team, six SWAT teams, 50 SI's,15 CI's,10 DSP's and 100 women police were also deployed for security.
