Hyderabad: AICC chief Rahul Gandhi promises minimum income guarantee scheme if voted to power in the upcoming parliamentary elections and says Telangana Chief Minister is being controlled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Centre at the public meeting held in Hyderabad, launching the campaign for the upcoming election, on Saturday.

He said that Congress is going to ensure a Guaranteed minimum income to all poor people present in the country and added that if voted to power in the upcoming elections, they are going to fix minimum income, which is not going to be below any of the income levels (Below Poverty Line) of people.

Rahul Gandhi elaborated more about the scheme adding that all the beneficiaries will be provided with monetary benefits when their income is going to be less than the minimum income fixed by the government. They are going to receive the money despite their location, religion and tongue they spoke.

He assured that no one will be left out and the amount will be directly credited to their accounts. He criticized that Narendra Modi dividing India into two, by being supportive to few businessmen and neglected others.

Rahul alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, is corrupt and Modi knew about the corruption and is guiding him from behind.
