Scuffle Breaks Out Between Congress Groups

Hyderabad: A fight broke out between two groups in Congress party at a meeting organised in Gandhi Bhavan to honour the Leader of Congress Legislature Party in Telangana Assembly, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.

Senior Congress party leader V Hanumanth Rao was obstructed by the followers of Amberpet leader Srikanth that it is because of him their leader was denied the ticket to contest in the elections. V Hanumanth Rao, who lost his patience, hurled abuses at them. Responding to this the followers of Srikanth started slogans against V Hanumanth Rao. Meanwhile, followers of the senior leader came forward, leading to a fist fight between two groups.

Other senior leaders from the party tried to pacify the two groups. This meeting was organised to felicitate Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for being elected as the CLP leader. But instead, the Congressmen there turned Gandhi Bhavan into a fighting ground for two groups.
