New Delhi: MPs of the Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) on Monday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss on land allocation for building the TRS party office in Delhi among other issues. Addressing the media after meeting with PM Modi, TRS MP Jithender Reddy said the party was eligible for a 1,000 sq. yd. site in Delhi, in its capacity of having 17 MPs in both the Houses of Parliament.

"As per urban development guidelines, we are eligible for a 1,000 sq. yd. site. We had requested the Prime Minister for allocation of a vacant site in Dr Rajendra Prasad Road to the TRS party office," he said.

Earlier, in the last week of December, 2018, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) inspected certain vacant government sites in the national Capital in his search for land for building the TRS office, while trying to stitch up a national-level Federal Front, a consortium of regional parties as an alternative to the BJP and Congress.
