New Delhi: Telangana Rashtra Samithi has demanded the Union government to clear all the assurances given to the state at the time of bifurcation. MPs' from the party met Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Ravi Shankar Prasad in Delhi .
Talking to the media on Wednesday, Nizamabad MP K Kavitha predicted that TRS was going to win the 16 MP seats in Telangana in the upcoming General Elections in 2019. She added that the opposition was giving lame reasons for their failure in the elections. Referring to Congress leaders comments on losing elections Kavitha said, “ then it was EVM’s tampering and now the alliance with Chandrababu Naidu are the reasons given by them". She exuded confidence that TRS is going to play an important role in National politics.
Mahabubnagar MP Jitender Reddy criticized the Union government and said they have failed to fulfill the promises made during the time of bifurcation. He demanded that Kaleshwaram project should be made a national project and given a National status. He also added that Sitarama project is being delayed by the Union government and called BJP government as only a talking government but lacking in action. Karimnagar MP Vinod said,” people have firmly decided to vote for TRS long ago and that Congress had lost the elections in the people's minds .”
