Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao visited his constituency for the first time after taking the oath as party president. Addressing the crowds in the road show about development he said: ” I only did one fourth, still a lot has to be done as an MLA.” He thanked the people of Sircilla for re-electing him with a huge majority and making him the third highest voted candidate in the whole state. He further said over the six months 2 lakh acres will be provided with water for irrigation.
KTR added that welfare schemes introduced by the Telangana government are being considered as a model in the whole country. He said that if the welfare schemes in Telangana were to be implemented across the country, a third front should emerge excluding Congress and BJP. KTR pointed out that his father, K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) was working in this direction. He added over the next three years a railway route is going to be laid to Sircilla and the condition of farmers should improve furthermore.
KTR promised to place Sircilla right on top in many spheres. He remarked that a separate plan is being etched for the upliftment of the weaver's community. KTR observed that Sircilla will be changed into Sirishala and it was opposition, which was against the saree distribution taken up by the TRS government.
