Senior TRS leader T Harish Rao met former Telangana Panchayat Raj and IT minister KT Rama Rao after the latter was appointed as the TRS working president by party supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
After congratulating him on the new responsibility, Harish Rao spoke to reporters and expressed his happiness on the election results. He also said that he KTR will take on more responsibilities and be instrumental in furthering the growth prospects of Telangana. While wishing KTR luck in his future endeavours, Harish Rao dispelled fears in the party cadre that he could be unhappy with KCR's decision to appoint his son as the working president.
The former irrigation minister said that they (KTR and Harish Rao) had worked as a team and will continue to do so in future as well. He also exuded confidence that they would work together to get more seats in the next elections.
