Hyderabad: Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi expressed confidence that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) supremo and caretaker chief minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) will form the next government. Addressing the media after meeting KCR, the AIMIM supremo said that the people of Telangana would bless TRS and KCR once again.

Owaisi predicted that KCR will form the next government on his own and will not need anyone's support. He also clarified that the MIM would stand by the TRS, thus putting at rest all speculation the likelihood of the Congress reaching out to the AIMIM. In fact, Owaisi reminded the media persons that only 2-3 days ago the Congress leaders had stooped so low as to describe the MIM as the C team of the BJP and Modi's team. How can they reach out to us to his party now, was his pointed question. The AIMIM supremo remarked that TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy spent time watching a film and added that he could watch other films now, since the movie centering around Telangana was over.

When asked about his visit to Pragathi Bhavan to meet KCR on a Royal Enfield Bullet bike, Owaisi replied that he wanted to prove that weather in Hyderabad was pleasant and peaceful. This was a pleasant day for a car (TRS) and a motorcycle ride, he said.

Owaisi forecast fewer seats for the BJP this time. As regards the AIMIM, it would be content with its 7-8 seats, he said. It will not join TRS govt, he remarked and repeated that KCR will form government on his own. On his 3 hour-long meeting with KCR, he commented that he could not repeat it verbatim, but "they definitely did not discuss weather."
