Hyderabad: Asserting the fact that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate from Kukatpally, Nandamuri Suhasini was fielded to victimize the Nandamuri family, caretaker IT minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) said in his address at a public meeting in the Kukatpally Housing Board Colony, If Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is really concerned about the family, he should induct Suhasini into the AP cabinet.

KTR asked Chandrababu to field Nara Lokesh if he had the courage to do so. He recalled that the TDP and the Congress made allegations that the TRS would ill-treat the people from Seemandhra. "Did anyone face such issues in KCR's rule?" he asked the public.

He explained the TRS's welfare schemes—pensions, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, Kanti Velugu, public hospitals, Arogya Lakshmi, Amma Vodi, Rythu Bandhu and the residential school buildings. The TRS carried out developmental activities worth Rs 4,000 crores in the Kukatpally constituency, he claimed.
