Hyderabad: Chevella MP and former TRS leader Konda Vishweshwar Reddy who joined Congress just before the Telangana Elections has come out with several shocking revelations about the TRS party leadership and how the party was functioning. Speaking to the media at the Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said that the TRS party under the leadership of caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his son K T Rama Rao was similar to working with a proprietorship firm where one had no voice nor could they express their opinions.

The party cadre have lost all self-respect as they have been unable to fulfill the promises made to the people, he said. Talking about finance minister Etela Rajender , he said that the finance minister had no clue about the state budget report till he submits it to the state assembly, the same is the case with Home Minister. He also has no idea when the Police officials are transferred or any important order has to be passed. He also stated that the activists and party cadre who had worked during the agitation period for separate statehood were also not treated with respect and new members were given preference over the long standing loyalists.

There is no scope for constructive discussions within party members and the TRS MPs have become a laughing stock in the Parliament he said. When KCR asked us MPs to fight for national status for the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation scheme, he had not filed an application with the Central government regarding the same. Konda Vishweswar Reddy said that KCR has reduced the state to a debt ridden state and how can anyone promise Rs 1000 as pension after the state exchequer has been robbed, he asked.

Speaking further, he said he was insulted for his sense of clothing and KCR prevented him from attending the Lok Sabha sessions many times which hurt him further. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Suman would only do as KCR said and were mere puppets.

The final straw came when he was pressurised by KTR not to enter Chevella and Tandur constituencies so as to not hurt the feelings of Minister Mahendar Reddy, who along with his brother were indulging in massive land grabbing activities there. KCR and KTR are buying MLAs and MPs like horses and donkeys into the party. With these tyrannical conditions and his self respect being hurt,he resigned from the party unable to bear the humiliation anymore, he said.
