Medchal: UPA chairperson and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, is all set to visit Medchal constituency on November 23 to attend a public rally as part of the Telangana Congress election campaign.

As per the itinerary released by the TPCC, she will arrive in Hyderabad on November 23 evening and drive to the meeting place at KLR Nagar in Medchal which is around 40 Kms from the Begumpet airport, attend the public meeting for an hour and half and head back to Begumpet airport and fly back to Delhi on the same day.

As part of the rally, the Congress is hoping to mobilise at least 2 lakh people hoping that Sonia Gandhi's presence would give the much needed boost to the Congress campaign in the state. They are hopeful that since it was her decision which led to the formation of the Telangana state, people would receive her well and also give a positive push to the Congress campaign.Considering her delicate health she would be speaking for an hour and a half and leave the place as soon as the speech is over, it is leaned.

The Congress is yet to decide whom to call from the Grand Alliance (TTDP, TJS& CPI ) to share the dais with her on that day .

In lieu of her visit , Congress Campaign Committee Chairman Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with AICC secretary Bose Raju and Medchal Congress candidate Kichhannagari Laxma Reddy visited Medchal and inspected the arrangements being made for her visit.

Rahul Gandhi's campaign itinerary is also being worked out. It is expected that he will address four to five rallies in important constituencies across Telangana like Medak, Gajwel, Warangal , Khamam and Nalgonda.
