Owaisi’s Witty Take On TDP’s Newfound Vigour In Telangana

AIMIM president and Hyderbad MP Asaduddin Owaisi lashed out at critics of his party who levelled allegations against them saying that the MIM did not stand for development or progress. The Hyderabad MP asserted that all it took was an RTI application to inform oneself of the development work undertaken by the AIMIM in various parts of Hyderabad. Owaisi described his critics as a frustrated lot who did not have any agenda or a policy of their own. They were driven by a single point agenda of opposing MIM. And hence such baseless allegations. The AIMIM supremo was addressing election meetings seeking support of the people for MIM Charminar candidate Mumtaz Ahmed Khan and its Yakutpura candidate Syed Ahmad Pasha Quadri.The Hyderabad MP slammed the Congress for blindly moving forward without a policy of their own and referred to the newfound enthusiasm of TDP which he described as stale stew on the boil now (baasi kadi main ubaal aaya hai/बासी कड़ी में उबाल आया है).

On this occasion, the Hyderabad MP also appealed to the Muslim community of the twin cities to celebrate Milad-un-Nabi (marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad), peacefully and to extend full co-operation to the authorities.
