Telangana Congress Upbeat Over C Voter Election Survey

The Telangana Congress is upbeat over the C voter survey conducted in the state over the upcoming elections. It may be recalled that the Voter survey conducted for ABP News and Republic TV has forecast a clear victory for the Mahakutami or Grand Alliance (Congress + TDP + CPI + TJS) with 64 seats, while it predicted 42 seats for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

According to the C Voter survey, BJP would win 4 seats, reducing its tally by a seat from the 2014 count. The C Voter survey predicted a vote share of 33.9 per cent to the Mahakutami, with the TRS likely to get 29.4 per cent.

Expectedly, the C Voter survey has given a fresh boost to the morale of the Congress cadre in the state, in spite widespread resentment over ticket distribution. The party tweeted that it was sure to form the government in the state:
