KCR Seeks Chinna Jeeyar Swami’s Blessings Ahead Of Shifting Gears In Telangana Polls

Hyderabad: Telangana caretaker chief minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) sought blessings of seer Chinna Jeeyar Swami at his Ashram, Divya Saketam, Jeeyar Integrated Vedic Academy (JIVA) at Muchintala near Shamshabad in the city here on Saturday. KCR took the seer's blessings ahead of the launch of the full-fledged election campaign for the December 7 Telangana polls. The nominations for elections would be accepted by the Election Commission until November 19, starting tomorrow, November 12.

After holding special prayers with Chinna Jeeyar Swami, KCR took a tour of the JIVA campus. Prostrating before the seer, the TRS chief took his blessings for the success of his party in the upcoming polls.

Joginapally Santosh Kumar, who was recently nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the TRS, accompanied KCR to the Pontiff. In the context of the busy election schedule from Monday, KCR's visit to the seer at his Ashram could be seen as a strategic move.
