Hyderabad: The Congress-led grand alliance will announce its constituency-wise candidate list for the December 7 elections on Monday, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy announced. Speaking at a press conference organized here at the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) party office on Sunday along with Telangana unit of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President L Ramana and TJS Chief Prof Kodandaram, he said after the recently held discussions, the seat sharing process and the contemplation of the alliance partners has reached its final stage. Earlier, the three party heads discussed on the friction arising in certain constituencies, where candidates from more than one party were adamant about wanting a ticket.

Uttam said that the Congress-TDP-TJS-CPI alliance will form the government on December 12, the day after the election results are announced. Stating that the alliance's ambition was to reflect upon the interests of the people of the State, he criticized TRS Chief KCR for advancing the polls with a hidden agenda to escape the ire of the Muslim minorities, who were promised 12% reservation. In the 2019 general elections, TRS will join hands with the BJP in the State and at the Centre.

The Congress Chief further alleged that in spite of turning the State into a debt-ridden economy, KCR could not launch a single Irrigation or a power project. "The alliance partners are carrying out discussions in a healthy atmosphere. Ticket aspirants should work for the party's victory and serve the government in MLC and nominated posts," he urged.
