Hyderabad: Terming Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) as not belonging to the State, Senior Congress leader Ponnala Lakshmaiah made sensational comments against the TRS Chief. Speaking to media here today, he challenged KCR to prove his real Telangana identity. The TRS party is working against the aspirations of the people of Telangana.

Ponnala said that none of the 14 lakh tenant farmers got the financial assistance in Rythu Bandhu scheme. Adding that the State government closed down the avenues of the Central funds for the families of the ration dealers, he alleged that the government did not respond to the demands of two lakh private college lecturers in the State.

The former PCC Chief observed that the government employees were upset with no issuance of IR while the RTC employees are distressed with a variety of problems. Does KCR have a right to question the Congress after he failed to fulfill his promise of waiving Rs 1 lakh loans in previous elections?, he asked.

"KCR announced the unemployment allowance after the Congress announced it recently. The Congress does not a have a history of "Jaago-Baago," he said.

The Congress leader further said that he would contest as an MLA in the upcoming elections. KCR will spend the rest of his life in Charlapally Central Prison, he added.
