TRS Ministers No Better Than Congress Sarpanches: Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy
Nalgonda: The ministers and MLAs of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) are as good as the Sarpanches in the Congress party, remarked senior Congress leader and MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy here at Munugodu constituency's Chittampadu Village of Nampally mandal in the district. He was participating in the Congress election campaign program. In the presence of Rajagopal Reddy, more than 100 TRS workers joined the Congress in the Village.
Speaking on the occasion, the former MP lambasted TRS leaders for criticizing former Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who was responsible for according Statehood to Telangana. He added that the Congress party, if elected to power, would waive Rs 2 lakh worth farmer loans at one go.
"I promise that Rs 2 lakh farm loans would be waived in Congress rule. The Congress manifesto is being prepared in such a way that the first signature after forming the government would be for providing the Rs 2,000 pension to the beneficiaries. Also, the families which had built houses on their own would be given Rs 5 lakh," he said.
