Hyderabad: The war of words between political parties is intesifying by the day as we approach the Telangana Assembly election date of December 7. Today, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy lashed out at caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) saying that his family cheated the people of the State and that KCR got habituated to partying.

Speaking at a press conference here Sunday, Uttam alleged that KCR suppressed the democratic spirit in the State. He added that the TRS leaders had no right to criticize the Congress.

"For sure, KCR would be ousted from power in the upcoming elections. There is a Congress wave in the State. The Congress would definitely form the government after the elections," Uttam said.

The Congress Chief also discussed the arrangements for the visit of party President Rahul Gandhi on October 20 with the leaders earlier today. On the other side, the Congress screening committee upped the ante in the seat-sharing process among the parties in the grand alliance.
