TRS leader and caretaker Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao came down heavily on the grand Alliance formed between the TDP , Congress & TJS parties, alleging that the alliance was completely against the interests of the state of Telangana and its people. Harish Rao also criticised Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) President Kodandaram for entering into an alliance with the TDP &Congress even after they had refused to withdraw their resignations when the Central Government went back on its decision to declare Telangana a separate state. He also questioned as to how the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu could work in the interests of the State where he stood no chance of winning. The defeat in greater Hyderabad municipal elections was a testimony that the TDP stood no chance of winning in Telangana. He questioned TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy whether the Congress was interested only in winning seats and getting votes? Are the leaders of grand alliance looking at their personal interests in forging the alliance or are they thinking of the interests of the Telangana?, he questioned.

He said that CM K Chandrasekhar Rao was committed to the cause of Telangana and because of his fast-unto- death strike he was able to achieve separate Statehood for Telangana and that was the kind of integrity he showed for the people of Telangana.

Speaking to the media he released an open letter to the PCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy seeking clarification about 12 major issues related to the state of Telangana.
