YSR Kadapa: Senior leader of the Congress party C Ramachandraiah today alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu indulged in rampant corruption in the last four years and that his son and minister Nara Lokesh and his benamis benefited from the corruption. Speaking to media on Saturday, he asked why Chandrababu was scared of the Income Tax raids when he had not committed any mistake.

"Chandrababu is scared of IT raids because his corrupt practices," he commented.

Ramachandraiah alleged that Chandrababu acquired crores of rupees of wealth by illegal mining of sand across the State. He said that it was unfortunate that no action was initiated against the TDP MLA who had beaten up a woman MRO.

"While Rs 400 crore worth corruption took place in the Pattiseema project, there is no limit for corruption in the Polavaram project. We condemn Chandrababu's support to the tax evaders," he added.

The Congress leader demanded to know from Chandrababu the person who was heard in the audio tape in note for vote case.
