Telangana Assembly Elections: R Krishnaiah To Join BJP

Hyderabad: President of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Telangana unit Dr K Laxman tday said that his party would welcome the entry of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA and BC Welfare Association national president R Krishnaiah. "The BJP would be ready to allot even a Lok Sabha ticket to R Krishaiah if he wishes to join our party," he added.

Speaking to media at the party office here today, the BJP leader said that in the first stage, the party would announce a 30-member list of contestants in October first week. In October, BJP national president Amit Shah will hold huge public meetings in Karimnagar and Warangal districts, he informed.

"Several leaders from the Telangana Jana Samithi and the Telangana Inti Party are willing to join BJP, including TIP leader Yennam Srinivas. We welcome everyone into the party unconditionally. In the context of Assembly elections, the party will hold meetings for the youth across Telangana," he added.
