IT Raids On TRS MP Ponguleti’s Residence

Hyderabad: The officials of the Income Tax department today raided the residences and offices of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP from Khammam, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. Spread over 18 residences and offices across the city and Khammam, the IT officials conducted search operations on charges of discrepancies in his income tax returns.

The MP had won from Khammam in 2014 Lok Sabha elections on YSR Congress party (YSRCP) ticket, before switching loyalties to the ruling TRS party in 2016. Raids at Ponguleti's residence in Jubilee Hills and the office of Raghava Infra at Banjara Hills are still on, it is learnt. Several important findings and documents have been recovered from his residence.
