Hyderabad: Telangana Congress Legislature Party vice president T Jeevan Reddy criticised the state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao saying he was a closer friend than BJP president Amit Shah to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Talking to media here today, the unemployed who were hoping would find jobs after the formation of a separate Telangana state were a disappointed lot after TRS government took over the state.

Jeevan Reddy expressed his surprise that despite two lakh vacancies available, the TRS government was not considering filling those posts. KCR was talking about zonal system just to get new districts approved by the Central government. He pointed out that the decision to build state secretariat in Bison Polo Grounds was illogical and unnecessary.

The Congress leader said there has been no development in the state over the four and half years. "The only development was Pragati Bhavan (Development Building), the CM's camp office." He questioned what had happened to Muslim reservations. He said TRS had no moral right to seek votes when they had not achieved anything for the state. He demanded KCR to inform the public as to why he was considering early elections when it was due six months from now.
