Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said that all the TRS candidates for the next elections would be announced in September itself. Speaking to media after TRS State Executive Meeting at Telangana Bhavan here today, KCR said TRS public meeting called Pragati Nivedana would be held in Hyderabad on September 2.

During the executive meeting, the party came out with nine resolutions: Central government should fulfill the promises made in AP Reorganisation Act; if Kaleshwaram project was not accorded national status, Rs 20,000 crore funds should be allocated; minimum support price for rice and maize should be pegged at Rs 2000; reservations of ST and minorities should be included in 9th schedule; for the welfare of BCs, a ministry should be created; scrap NITI Ayog; increase the number of Parliament seats based on the population; more freedom to states. Education, healthcare, agriculture, rural and urban development should be left to states; and reservations for BCs and women in assembly.

KCR hit back at Congress President Rahul Gandhi's accusations and said the state was constructing double bed room houses. He was surprised by Rahul mentioning TRS government as dynastic rule and said "our governance is much better than Delhi's dynastic rule."

KCR was confident of winning more than 100 assembly seats in next elections and said that the party would not have alliance with any party. Regarding loan waiver, he said Rs 2 lakh crore can not be waived at one go and that it has to be done in a phased manner. He also asked Congress to suggest on disbursing unemployment allowance.

The Telangana CM said the election commission might hold elections in next six months, and declined to make any comment on early polls. He proudly said that the government was implementing a much better welfare scheme than Central government's Asyushman Bharat. For farmer insurance scheme Rythu Bheema, the government was bearing the entire cost, he added.
