Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Treasurer Guduru Narayana Reddy accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) of inking a secret political pact with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during his Delhi visit.
He questioned KCR's credibility in taking the same issues to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "Why did KCR present the same memoranda to Modi when he had given the same in his earlier visits?" he asked.
Narayana Reddy alleged that PM Modi and KCR discussed the BJP-TRS alliance in Telangana. The Congress leader demanded that KCR reveal the topic of discussion in his meeting with the Prime Minister. While KCR supports the Centre's undemocratic decisions, PM Modi always tries to protect the corrupt practices of the KCR family, he alleged.
KCR should answer on whether PM Modi agreed to allow the 12 per cent reservation to Muslims in the State, he demanded.
