I Challenge You To Play On Field Than Twitter: Revanth Reddy To KTR

Hyderabad: Firebrand Congress leader Revanth Reddy, in an interesting development, took to Twitter last night to throw the "hum fit tho India fit" challenge at Telangana IT Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), who is celebrating his 42nd birthday today.

The fitness challenge gained momentum last month, after Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore nominated Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, who in turn nominated Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take up the challenge.

Revanth Reddy posted pictures from his football game, in a tweet that wished the Minister on his birthday. "Wishing @ktrtrs many happy returns of the day.! I challenge you to play on field than Twitter. #FitnessChallenge #HumFitTohIndiaFit. @RahulGandhi @divyaspandana @INCIndia @INCTelangana @IYC," the Kodangal MLA's tweet read.

Speaking to a leading English daily on his fitness challenge, the Congress leader said that he was a regular football player. "KTR cannot stand against me either on political pitch or playground," he remarked.

It is learnt that Revanth Reddy and his football team are regular at a private ground in Jubilee Hills in the city.
