Tollywood Actress Is TS BJP Youth Leader

Hyderabad: Tollywood actress and Ee Rojullo fame Reshma Rathore has been made Telangana BJP Youth division secretary. Expressing her happiness over being elevated to the post of secretary, she said given a chance she would like to contest for Mahabubnagar MP. She said if permitted she was ready tour the Parliamentary constituency to understand the problems of the people. It maybe recalled that the actress joined BJP on Ambedkar jayanti and during the party national president Amit Shah's visit to Hyderabad yesterday, she was elevated to the new post.

Speaking on the occasion, former BJP MLA Lakshminarayana accused the TRS government of lacking sincerity in implementing the Haritha Haram, two bed room houses and other welfare schemes. He pointed out that though the state had 12,751 gram panchayats, secretaries were appointed only for 3,490 panchayats. He said that Harita Haram implementation was handed over to village secretaries and termed it a failure.

The former MLA said it was unfair on part of the TRS government not to distribute amounts to the toilets constructed by villagers. Despite being in power for last four years, the government had failed to build double bedroom houses. He said that the Central government had given Rs 1,211 crores for urban housing scheme and Rs 191 crores for rural housing.
