New Delhi: The infighting within Telangana Congress seems to have become all too evident. It is clear that Congress leaders of the state are working against TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and want him ousted from the post at the earliest. Towards this end, the leaders are leaving no stone unturned in New Delhi. As part of this effort, Komatireddi Venkat Reddy and DK Aruna met AICC chief Rahul Gandhi to complain against Uttam.

According to sources, in the meeting between Telangana Congress leader and Rahul Gandhi they informed Rahul Gandhi that Uttam did not consult senior leaders in the party took decisions as per his whims and fancies. With such an attitude, Congress would not win more than 15 seats in 2019 elections, Komatireddi said. Former minister DK Aruna had said that if it was any other leader than Uttam, she would work for the party and help in its victory in the state.
