Telangana Irrigation Minister Complains Against Andhra Over Krishna Water

Hyderabad: Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao has lodged a complaint with Krishna River Management Board that the neighboring Andhra Pradesh was preventing the inflow into the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam from Srisailam reservoir.

Harish Rao met the Board Secretary Samir Chatterji in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The Minister stated that Andhra Pradesh was using the water from Pothireddypadu project illegally. He urged the Secretary to take action immediately and direct the state to release the due share of Telangana.
