Telangana: Have CM Kiran, Seemandhra leaders reached a compromise?

There was much hype over Seemandhra leaders revolting against the division of the state and also High Command if need be.

CM Kiran Kumar Reddy was also rumored to have already submitted his resignation to express his displeasure over state bifurcation. As many as 15 Seemandhra ministers had also made up their minds to give up their ministry posts.
But after all the hue and cry, the Samaikyandhra supporters (ministers) seems to have resolved to the Telangana cause and come to terms with reality. If recent reports are anything to go by, the ministers have decided to retain their posts by abiding to the diktats of Congress High Command.

It's as if they have stepped back from their stand. This move has disappointed Seemandhra people who were expecting to see some resignations from the ministers who had initially threatened to quit. When that didn't happen yesterday, the protestors laid seige to house of several ministers in anger.

The Seemandhra ministers who were till now protesting against the division of the state, are now fighting for a new capital. Now that they know Congress won't budge, they are demanding that Kurnool or Guntur be made capital.

There were rumors that Kiran Kumar Reddy had demanded a special package for Telangana instead of separate statehood. In a twist of fate, the Centre announced statehood to Telangana and is all set to release a special package to Seemandhra.
Central ministers from Seemandhra region have taken a U-turn on the Telangana issue.

Kavuri too, who was a staunch supporter of united state went back on his words much to the disgust of Samaikyandhra activists.

It is learnt that many Seemandhra leaders believe that endless meetings at Kavuri's residence was a total waste of time. All the ministers now echo the same words, that they will abide by the words of Congress High Command!
Union tourism minister Chiranjeevi, who was seen proactively making last ditch efforts to press the Centre to keep the state united is nowhere in the scene after the announcement. (Also Read)

In result, the angry Seemandhra people have decided to boycott movies of mega family actors.

The bottom line is every person loves his post more than his state and most won't dare cross line put by Sonia Gandhi.
