'Telangana formed only due to Sonia Gandhi'

TPCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah hoisted the National Flag at Gandhi Bhavan.

Speaking on the occasion, he reminded that AICC president Sonia Gandhi granted the new state keeping up the promise made by the party.

“Telangana people are indebted to Sonia Gandhi as the state was formed only due to her initiative,” said Ponnala.
He said that Telangana was developed in several fields during the rule of Congress party.

Wishing Telangana to develop in all fields, he clarified that Congress had committed for Golden Telangana.

He requested the state government to give more preference for agriculture as most of the people in the state depended on agriculture only.

In the celebrations, the party leaders Damodara Rajanarasimha, Anjan Kumar Yadav, V.Hanumantha Rao, MLAs and others participated.
