Telangana Board of Intermediate Launches ‘DiSK’ Interactive Study Tool For Students

DiSK is an interactive study tool which comprises text books, study material, video lessons, assessments and multiple-choice questions that help students preparing for regular and competitive examinations. 

Hyderabad: For the first time in the country, the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has launched, Digital Study Kit (DiSK), an educational web portal and app for intermediate students.

DiSK is an interactive study tool which comprises text books, study material, video lessons, assessments and multiple-choice questions that help students preparing for regular and competitive examinations.

Education Minister Kadiam Srihari who launched the DiSK here on Friday said digital education is a priority for the State government and the initiative will help students get access to quality learning and prepare for competitive exams at a national level.

“DiSK will also cut down costs associated with buying of books for competitive exam preparation,” he said.

The DiSK which is powered by CloudEdz has been designed to work without internet connectivity and is is offered free of cost to Government Junior College students. For other junior college students, a nominal fee of Rs 325 per year is charged of which, the Board gets Rs 100 as a royalty.

Y Sumanth Rao, CEO, CloudEdz said “DiSK is an e-learning initiative aimed at providing world class education to Telangana students.

This will help students perform better at all competitive forums. The application aims to create a student centric learning environment that will help them perform better”.
