Telangana Bill in winter session: Digvijaya

All India Congress Committee general secretary Digvijaya Singh on Monday said that the Telangana bill is expected to be introduced in the ensuing Parliament session.

Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Singh said that the draft Bill would be sent to the State Assembly for comments. "Let the Group of Ministers (GoM) first give its report on the basis of which the draft bill will be prepared and sent to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly," he said.
"I have not seen the GoM report yet," Singh answered when asked about the report framed by the GoM.
When questioned about the minutes of meetings that Singh had with Deputy Chief Minister C Damodara Rajanarasimha, Singh said that he would not reveal the details. He added, "I don't make private discussion public."
On November 29 , Rajanarasimha had met Singh and discussed key issues pertaining to the creation of Telangana. The Deputy CM had previously said that various issues including Rayala-Telanagana figured in the meeting. But when Singh was questioned on the same, the former MP CM said, "I don't rule out anything on Rayala-Telangana."
