Telangana Assembly Session Till March 27

Hyderabad: The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting has decided that the Telangana assembly sessions will be held till March 27. It has also been decided that on March 13 and 14, motion of thanks to the Governor's speech will be held. On the March 15, finance minister Etala Rajender will present the state budget for the year 2018-19. The sessions will continue even on March 25, Sunday, it has been decided.

The assembly session started today with Governor's address, was adjourned after the speech. It is also learnt that BAC meeting also discussed about the ruckus during the Governor's address in the assembly and the members expressed displeasure over few Congress party members' behaviour in the house.

Senior Congress leader Jana Reddy expressed regret over the state Legislative Council Chairman Swami Goud being hurt. On the other hand, MIM Legislative party leader Akbarudding Owaisi suggested to BAC to lodge a police complaint over the incident. Speaker Madhusudanachary said he will look into all the aspects before taking any decision.
