Techie's crazy driving kills another techie

Hyderabad: Friday night car racing frenzy by drunken techies proved fatal to another techie couple.

Shwetabh Kumar, a HR manager in Delloit and his friends were engaged in a fierce car race on the Gacchibowli-Nanakramguda road. They crashed into a bike that stopped at an intersection due to red light. Due to the impact of the collision, Soniram Chandini, who was pillion riding the bike, died on the spot, while her husband Harish Prasad and their four-year-old son suffered critical injuries. They were rushed to the nearby Himagiri hospital.
The car, a Skoda vehicle, then hit few more vehicles before stopping. Shwetabh Kumar too was injured. He was admitted to another hospital, from where he fled fearing arrest.
