Unable to digest the growing popularity of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the TDP is resorting to slanderous campaign and personal attacks. YSRCP senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana said the Chandrababu Naidu government has shown itself to be anti-Dalit by attacking a Dalit woman who questioned the TDP leaders' land grab.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Botsa Satyanarayana said the attacks on Dalits in Visakhapatnam district showed the true colours of TDP and its leadership. "Condemning the attacks on the Dalits in Pendurthi of Visakhapathnam district, our leader had directed the cadre to look into the grievances of the victims. The TDP, on the other hand, is trying to shield the culprits. This shows the differences in the approach of both the parties," he said.

He also said that the TDP has launched a campaign against YS Jagan as it is scared of the tumultuous response that his mass contact programme 'Praja Sankalpa Yatra' has been getting. The remarks on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stem from the fear and hopelessness in the TDP, which has been worried over the stupendous success of the padayatra, he added.

"There is no need to pass snide remarks on our leader’s birthday. Chandrababu must remember that he and German fascist Adolf Hitler share the same birth date and month, he said.

A Party which uses money to buy MLAs has no right to speak about moral values and democratic norms, he said.
