‘Intelligence Chief Should Also Be Felicitated For TDP’s Win’
Hyderabad: YSRCP officials spokesperson Ambati Rambabu has said that 'Abhinandana Sabha' organised by TDP chief and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to thank the partymen following the victory in Nandyal bypoll and Kakinada civic polls, is a farce.
Speaking to media persons at YSRCP office here on Monday, Ambati Rambabu said that Chandrababu organised the meeting at Happy Resorts near Mangalagiri only to review the money spent in luring the voters in both the elections.
The State's Intelligence chief Venkateswara Rao along with 600 election staff, who had worked in the elections in favour of the TDP, should also be complemented equally, he said sarcastically.
The YSRCP leader said that crores of rupees had been sent to the respective TDP leaders in Nandyal after which they had distributed the money to the voters and concerned leaders in the wards before the commencement of voting. Thus, the TDP had successfully emerged victorious in both the elections, he stated.
