TDP trying to hush up attack on woman tehsildar

YSR Congress has demanded the State Government to allow the law to take its own course in the attack on a woman MRO case instead of shielding the concerned MLA by working out a compromise formula or using coercion and other tactics on the official to withdraw the case.

“It is three days since the attack on the MRO, but still the MLA Ch Prabhakar, who is facing a slew of cases, is not arrested and two ministers visiting official Vanajakshi at her residence is apparently to work out a compromise formula,” party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma told reporters here on Friday.

The official was attacked by the Denduluru MLA and his henchmen when she has objected them from smuggling sand. The evidence is crystal clear on the incident and then why the Government is playing the waiting game is known.

“The delay points towards hushing up the matter by some means or the other and we demand that the law should be allowed to take its own course without any interference as it will demoralize the revenue officials.,’ she said.

On Chandrababu Naidu’s Japan tour, she said: “He has been conducting himself like an entrepreneur and not as a Chief Minister of the State. He has signed numerous MoUs details of which were not known, like the amount that was spent for his foreign jaunts.

Even during his previous term, he boasted of bringing in huge amounts of investments by conducting partnership summits but the amount that really came in was meager.

Hence we demand that the State should be transparent and the details of the MoUs should be made public,” she said.
