TDP stonewalling attempts to raise people’s issue-YS Jagan

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly deplored the behavior of the ruling TDP legislators in the AP Assembly on the issue of Polavaram and Pattiseema.

Speaking to media-persons after the house was adjourned on Tuesday, he said the ruling TDP does not have the patience nor the time to listen to the people’s woes. He said that  the ruling party had stonewalled all the attempts to raise the issue of Anganwadi workers.

On Pattiseema project, he stated that the project will seriously jeopardize the Polavaram project and mentioned that the government was not ready to listen to the Opposition argument on the issue. Polavaram project is the only solution to solve the woes of Rayalaseema. He said the TDP government was lying on the floor of the Assembly.

He also questioned the rationale behind the scaling down of assembly budget session. “Earlier it used to be for 40 days, now it has been reduced to 17 days,” he said. He said the TDP was trying to sidetrack the discussions by unnecessarily criticizing his father YSR and him.
