TDP Selects Muddu Krishnama Naidu’s Wife For Chittoor MLC

Amaravati: Gali Saraswatamma, wife of TDP MLC late Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu is likely to be made the Chittoor district MLC. The decision to this effect was made by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. After the recent demise of the TDP MLC, the seat became vacant and his two sons were race for it.

Muddu Krisnama Naidu's two sons and his wife had today met AP CM here and it is learnt that both the sons had expressed their desire for taking over from their father. Sensing a problem, the TDP Chief has decided to offer the seat to demised leader's wife, avoiding both the sons.

The notification of the Chittoor MLC election and its schedule was released two days ago. The election would be held on May 21.
