TDP Nalgonda district president's daughter goes missing

Telugu Desam Party Nalgonda district president, Bilya Naik's daughter went missing from her relatives' house at Meerpet on Thursday.

According to reports, Naik, who is contesting from Devarkonda Assembly constituency has two houses, BN Reddy Nagar and Siripuram.

Naik went for electioneering along with his wife to Devarakonda. They left their 14-year daughter Harika Naik with her aunt at BN Reddy Nagar.

Since Harika's school is closed for the holidays, her mother came to Siripuram colony on Wednesday night and was planing to go her relatives' house to pick her on Thursday morning. But the girl was missing by the time her aunt woke up.

Naik has approached the Meerpet police and lodged a missing complaint and police has launched a manhunt to trace the girl. Reportedly, her belongings are also missing.  The police are investigating if Naik's rivals have a role to play in his daughter's missing.
