TDP MLA's car kills one

One person was killed when he was knocked down by a speeding car carrying Sattupally TDP MLA, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah near Tallada on the national highway in Khammam district on Sunday night.

The incident took place when the MLA was on way to reach Tallada in the night. Banoth Lalu (50) was hit by the MLA's car when he was crossing the road.

Banoth sustained severe injuries and died before reaching the hospital. After the accident, the TDP MLA left from the spot in another car.
