TDP Leader Arrested In Vizag Land Scam 

Visakhapatnam: A TDP Ward president was on Monday arrested for his alleged involvement in the sensational Vizag land scam here in the city. Gollagani Sanyasirao, who was elected from Ward No.4 in Madhurawada, was arrested on charges of land grabbing.

Sanyasirao had allegedly removed display boards in the government lands located in the city and encroached them, the police confirmed this in their primary inquiry. Further details in the case are awaited.

It may be recalled that several names of the ruling TDP biggies have surfaced in the land scam. The SIT probing the case has found several irregularities including the land records tampered with.
